Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq is a region of Greenland, one of six and the third largest, covering about 538,000 square kilometres — 25% of the country. It lies in the southeast. It is made up of ten separate pieces of land. It borders Kommune Kujalleq, Nationalparken, Qaasuitsup Kommunia and Qeqqata Kommunia.
